I'm back
again on another beautiful Sunday morning, a perfect day for the V8 Supercar
race at Bathurst in NSW. My hubby likes to watch it all day so you might
guess what that means - did you have a guess? yes a day of playing with
scrappy goodness for me.
I've decided to show you a layout I played with last week and to let you see that if you have some older papers and embellishments you can, perhaps, pull out some older photos and add them to your memory albums.
I created
this layout from a kit of some older papers, a die cut and flowers. I even dragged out the eyelets I had in my stash.
As you'll find with the newer paper ranges they usually have some cut aparts and I used these under the birdcage, even the title is cut from one of those cut aparts. I've inked all edges to give the older look to the page because the photo is of 'ME' and my brother some 55 years ago.
I also found an older punch in my stash so used that for the centre of the flowers.
I hope you'll consider using up your stash as well as the beautiful new scrappy goodness that's available now.
Enjoy your Sunday Deer & Fawn friends.
