Good morning ladies, welcome to
Deer & Fawn Designs on this beautiful Sunday morning. It’s Sandra here with you today with my very
first post as Guest Designer and my take on the ‘About Me’ challenge.
I’ve just started scrapping
layouts about myself having realised it’s just as important to scrap ourselves
as well as our family. Now’s a good time
for all of you to challenge yourselves to find a photo and document a little
about ‘YOU’ and there’s also a great prize up for grabs – so what are you
waiting for???
Oh and don’t forget to link your
entries on the sidebar for a chance at the prize.
Now here’s a little about my
layout. I used a Tim Holtz Collection stencil and mixed my texture paste with a little bit of pale pink colour before
applying. I also stamped a couple of
little butterflies in gold (very hard to see) but they just add a little
something behind the photo. The patterned paper is an older one from my stash
and it’s from Gossamer Blue , I love that they have gorgeous ephemera and enamel
dots to match the paper collection. The
flowers are from Green Tara with a little bit of wire thread from Prima Marketing Inc. tucked
underneath the cluster.
I distressed and inked the edges
of the paper strips at the top and bottom of the page and inked the matting of
the little journal pieces and photo matting.
Thanks so much Debbie for having
me, I’m having fun already even though this month’s challenge was just that for
me.
Well that's it from me today - I'm looking forward to seeing your pages linked to the sidebar real soon!!!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
